L'evento si articola in 4 percorsi, aree tematiche: Mercato, Lavoro, Cultura e Ambiente, secondo un programma articolato nelle due giornate del 7 e 8 Ottobre 2014 e vede la partecipazione di numerosi relatori, esperti nei rispettivi settori di competenza.

Le attività del Salone comprendono una mostra digitale, inaugurata il gorno di aperturà e che resterà online per un anno, presentazioni di libri, ricerche, apps, una serie di incontri, matchings, incontri tra i vari attori e i partecipanti all'evento finalizzati in particolare a
conoscere le buone prassi, individuare i referenti più interessanti di ogni organizzazione, condividere idee, dare vita a nuove relazioni e collaborazioni.

In occasione di questa seconda edizione è stato inoltre indetto il concorso "Comune partecipativo",  con la finalità di
premiare le esperienze collaborative o partecipative realizzate dai Comuni e la creatività degli utenti di Twitter sul tema dei processi collaborativi.
Il Comune e l’autore del tweet verranno premiati durante Il Salone della CSR e dell’innovazione sociale.

Poichè il Salone di quest'anno assegna particolare centralità al tema dei prcessi collaborativi, anche questa edizione ha previsto la possibilità, per chunque fosse interessato, di partecipare alla creazione del programma.
